Last weekend marked the beginning of bow hunting season. All the boys get really excited about three months before and start shooting their bows, talking about where to camp and hunt and going scouting for deer. They then all head up the Friday before so they can set up everything and be ready for the opening morning. I however am not a fan of the hunt because a. I don't like deer meat. Elk is good but none of them get one and b. I don't like to sleep alone in my house. This year I got lucky and had an adult babysitter by the name of Leah come stay with me. I don't have pictures because Cameron took the camera but I was very happy to have her there and I tried to get her to stay a day longer. So did Grace because she loves her and Leah put Legos in her hair(really braids but Grace thought they looked like Legos so that is what she called them). We usually go up to see Cameron on Sunday for a few hours but this year he asked Grace if she wanted to camp out and she did not let him forget. So Monday afternoon the kids, two of my nephews and I drove up Fairview Canyon to see the boys and camp. Now if anyone knows me well you know I don't camp but my mother and father-in-law and my brother and sister-in-law have trailers so I am good.

Of course the first thing the kids did was dig in the dirt, since there would be no showers let's get as dirty as possible. And they went in and out of the trailers over and over.

Next they asked for a million rides on the 4 wheeler and since their dad is so nice he took them and me. He let Grace drive which I won't even do and they all made it back in one piece. Later we had tin foil dinners which were great.

This is all the kids Braxton, Blake, Grace and Dylan. Even though it was pretty cold I think all the kids had at least twenty otter pops a piece.

This is Grace roasting her first marsh mellows. I am just glad she did it before her pyro of a father got hold of the fire and turned it into a bonfire.

I was really concerned that the kids would not sleep very well but Grace was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Blake was up for a few minutes but went to sleep well and slept all night.

The next morning we all get up and came home. This is Blake peeking out the window to see who was out there, he was so cute up there that I had to get one last picture. We had lots of fun and the kids want to know when we can go again!
