Blake turns 4!

For a couple of months Blake has been asking to have a friend party at Chuck E Cheese(oh the power of commercials). We decided it sounded like an ok idea so we let him invite a few little boys to join in the fun. I was a little worried taking 5 boys plus Blake to Chuck E Cheese but they were all so well behaved. I was amazed. They did tell me to drive faster and pass all the cars in front of us and they were totally impressed when I passed an 18 wheeler. The great thing about a party somewhere other than your house is you do not have to clean up the mess or worry about what is getting ruined. The down side it time limit and we totally ran out of time. I was also very surprised that all those little boys didn't use up their tokens as fast as they could and they all took some home, except for my kids. They were all worried about not using them all so we told them to ask their parents to bring them back. I also need to give a warning to all the moms that every boy there told me they were also having their party at Chuck E Cheese. Blake's party theme was Batman and above is Blake in his Batman party hat.Cameron and I with our birthday boy.

Blake and all his friends with their masks.

Blowing out the candles on his Batman cake. I think I said last year that red icing is a bad idea, well so is black and blue or purple I couldn't really tell.

Riding the dragon ride.

When Grace woke up on the morning of his party she was sad she didn't have anything to give him. So she went to her room and found this cougar and frog and put it in a bag and gave him a gift. It was so sweet and she loves both of these stuffed animals so that made it extra nice.

Baby Girl is 9 Months

It seems like every time I turn around I am posting another month, it is crazy. This month has been really fun, Lucy is developing such a cute personality. She totally knows she is stinkin' cute and plays in up all the time. She is always laughing at herself and all the funny things she does. This month she totally started pulling up on everything. She is waving bye bye and clapping. The first time she clapped she was hysterical. Some music was playing on the TV and she starts laughing, I look over and she is dancing and clapping and just laughing. It was like wow I can do that look at me. She does dance a lot and her favorite dance we call the squishy butt dance, she is seated and rocks back and forth. She also now dances when she pulls up, she hangs on and bounces her knees. The kids like to do it with her, they are all so cute shaking their little booty's. Lucy also got a second tooth and now things she no longer needs bottles and wants to eat everything in sight. This is a far cry from three months ago when we couldn't get her to eat anything. Just chillin after eating most of my dinner at the Cracker Barrel.

Her brother and sister thought it would be fun to put her in their"boat". She actually loved it and it kept her contained for a minute.

She is little miss helpful and tries to unload the dishwasher. To bad it is when I am loading.

Wearing Grace's headband. She wasn't real crazy about it on her head.

Pulling up.

She tries to crawl through all the smallest spaces and when she gets stuck she is hysterical.

Sledding, Gymnastics, and a Snowman

The kids have been begging us since before Christmas to take them sledding. Every time we have had a chance something else has come up or there has not been very much snow, which has been the story of this winter. Finally on Presidents day we went and they were so excited. We were the only people there which was pretty nice. We stayed for about an hour and the kids actually pulled their own sled or tube up the hill by themselves which was nice for Cameron and I. The picture above is me and the kids and yes I know I need a cut and some color, especially since last Friday I found my first gray hair, but that is a whole other story!

We also went to a BYU vs Utah gymnastics meet a couple of weeks ago. It was a good time, to bad Utah kicked our butt! Maybe next year.
This is the first snowman the kids have made all year and it was last week, refer to the top and the no snow thing. They made this pretty much by their selves and they were so pleased. Cameron help a little with the bottom but they did the rest. The were very displeased with me when they came in for a carrot nose and we didn't have one. Oh well I guess Frosty will be noseless but since he is already melted and gone I guess he doesn't care too much!
