Party Time!

Last weekend we had Grace's birthday party. She was particular about not wanting princesses, friaries or anything little girl. At first we were going to go to Chucky Cheese but then decided on a movie late nite. That then changed into a spa themed movie late nite party that turned out pretty fun. I did facial masks, nails and makeup. I had my friend Leah who is also my hair stylist come and do all the girls hair. After we watched Princess Dairies and ate yummy movie snacks. I will say that the big thing I didn't think about was down time for the other girls while Leah and I were doing hair and make up. They got a little crazy so I should have done the movie during not after. Oh well you live and learn and they had fun and nothing was broken so in my book good party. Above is Grace with her pedicure cake. Her seven totally looks like a one but that is the one she wanted. The pictures got a little out of order but it was to much of a hassle to fix so I didn't.
Party favors. Pedicure set with flip flops, nail file, the thing for in between your toes, head band for the masks, eye patch for night time and nail polish. I think the eye patch was the favorite thing.
All the girls after they are all done.
The back of all their pretty hair. Big Huge thanks to Leah!!!!!
Letting their masks dry. Grace was insistent that they have cucumbers for their eyes.
All their painted toes. This activity totally stressed me out. All the girls were running around screaming. Grace knocked a bottle of paint on the floor. I dropped the brush on my brand new shirt. I also put a napkin with finger nail polish remove on my kitchen table and it left a mark. Moral of the story change clothes and do the painting outside!
Me painting toes.
Leah the super star doing hair.

Wow Super mom! That picture of them laying on the floor with the cucumbers on their eyes is HILARIOUS. Grace looks a lot older, maybe it is the makeup and hairdo. She looks adorable.
The cookies turned out by the way! :) So thanks!
