Last week Blake had his birthday and turned 5. He was so excited because two of his friends were already five and he finally would be too! He decided on a Star Wars party and wanted to have it at home. So we planned some games and invited over some friends. I however didn't plan enough because those little boys went through them as fast as they could. Blake however is a good host and he improvised with Star Wars Legos on the WII which was a big hit. He had lots of fun and is so happy to be five. Cameron did a little fixing of the Darth Vader pinata and turned it into a helmet as seen in the picture above.

His Darth Vader and Luke cake.

Blowing out the candles.

All the boys in the Darth Vader party masks.

Playing musical planets to the Star wars theme music. I named all the planets after planets in the movies and made them the colors of what type of planets they were(water, gas, earth like) I just don't think the kids cared as much as I did.

So the next two pictures got our of order this is all the boys getting their candy after the piñata was pulled open.

The Darth Vader piñata.

Having Anakin's pod race.

This was by far Blake's favorite gift, roller skates from grandma and grandpa. Grace got some for Christmas and ever since Blake has wanted his own. He wears them constantly.

So cute Kate! What good ideas you had. Zac would have loved it! I am so sorry we got stuck in Salt Lake. We still have his present. We should get together and play and then we could give it to him! You guys should come over Tuesday morning.
Happy Birthday! I didn't realize how close in age he and Max are. Wish we lived close enough to play. Love the Star Wars theme!
